DETECTIVE begins!!

So, Mookie did a thing this weekend which stunned me! In his 1st ever DETECTIVE trial he passed but not only that, he passed the next 3 for a total of 4 Detective Qs with 3-3rd place finishes from a total of 15 and 20 dogs each!  For my non-dog friends - he did good!!

So, why is Jake in the picture? Well, in Jake's 1st ever Detective run, he passed and it was under Bonnie, the same judge as Mookie had which I thought was quite a coincidence! But, the similarities don't end there. When I called finish and there were 8 interior hides and 1 exterior, I realized that it was the same number of hides (inside and out) that Jake had to find in the crazy laser tag room at an amusement park in Valparaiso Indiana in 2018! Some of you may remember that room! . My guess is that Jake was  with Mookie this weekend in spirit cheering him on! 

As icing on the cake, Mookie also passed all his other runs adding 2 master interior and 4 master exterior to his list of elite legs!  Maturity and focus after what seemed to be a NEVER ENDING adolescent Mudi dog is a wonderful thing! I think I'll keep him!
